Why are some athletes better than others? How can that one phenom do all those WoDs so much faster? Why does athlete “a” get better results from CF than “b”? How can some girls and guys post the fastest times and highest scores day in and day out? What is it they are doing differently? It’s simple. Just watch one of them. They all have things in common.  Just before the count of 3, 2, 1…(cont.)

When did cheating become a reward?   Part 1
Originally posted 29 August 2010

Nope, I’m calling BS on the cheat meal.  If you’re looking for a fitness pro to tell you it’s ok to schedule a cheat meal or day, I’m not it.  I can’t comprehend how rewarding  yourself with something bad for you is considered ok by so many fitness minded people.

“You don’t know what it’s like…”
If you have always been active, maintained a level of fitness, and never been fat, then you just don’t know what it’s like.  It is easy as someone who has always been motivated to stay in shape to not understand how Americans continue to make horrible choices for their health and fitness.  You don’t know what is like to disregard all the fitness and diet information available to us and still put fattening, unhealthy food in your mouth.
